Video of our DDS windshifter in action, 3-way separation for stone and wood recovery and RDF feedstock

A great example of efficient material separation with our DDS 1400 windshifter installed in the UK, processing C&D material.
The DDS performs a precise 3-way split to maximise resource recovery and produce a clean RDF feedstock:
(1) Heavy fraction: recovered aggregates
(2) Mid-heavy fraction: concentrated wood fraction for recovery
(3) Light fraction: RDF
By efficiently separating stone, wood, and RDF, the DDS plays a key role in minimizing landfill and supporting sustainable fuel production.
The Nihot windshifters are characterized by using negative pressure (aspiration) to separate waste into a heavy and light fraction. And the DDS is even more special since this windshifter separates the waste into a heavy, mid-heavy and light fraction. 1 windshifter = 3 fractions!
