SDX 1400 windshifter, integrated in a new RDF production line in Brazil!

In being involved in the Brazilian market for many years with several installed Nihot windshifters, we now want to share our latest project. This time it concerns a Nihot SDX 1400 windshifter, integrated in a new RDF production line!

We have installed the SDX windshifter for removing inert material from pre-shredded and screened C&I waste for the protection of the secondary shredder and creating RDF with a high calorific value. This significantly reduces the OPEX and down time of the cement production facility and allows for a continuous operation.

Nihot windshifters are characterized by using negative pressure (aspiration) to separate waste into a heavy and light fraction. The SDX windshifter is a standard machine, removing inert from the waste stream for the protection of secondary shredders. This unique windshifter meets our customers’ needs: premium protection at the lowest cost per ton!
