We are proud to announce a second UK installation for the same customer, following the first project we shared last week, once again equipped with the powerful combination of Nihot SDS and DDS windshifters for processing C&D waste.

With two plants now operating successfully, this configuration once again proves its effectiveness in maximizing material recovery through precise air-based separation.

𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬:
✅ Clean hardcore – inert, stones, glass, metals
✅ Recovered wood fraction – suitable for further recovery
✅ RDF / SRF fraction – clean, high-quality fuel

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬:
The SDS 1200 separates the input into a light RDF fraction and a heavy fraction containing inert, stones, glass, wood, and metals.
The DDS 1800 takes separation a step further with a true 3-way split:
1️⃣ Light fraction – SRF
2️⃣ Mid-heavy fraction – wood, dense plastics, and similar materials
3️⃣ Heavy fraction – inerts, stones, glass, metals

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:
Nihot SDS windshifters use negative pressure (aspiration) to separate waste into heavy and light fractions — a method proven to deliver the highest separation accuracy. The DDS windshifter builds on this principle with a unique 3-way separation, meaning 1 windshifter = 3 clean fractions.
