SDX 1400 windshifter integrated in RDF production line in France ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

Inert removal for maximum shredder protection

We have successfully installed an SDX 1400 windshifter as part of a new RDF production line in France, designed to remove inert materials from C&I waste.

With operations expected to start soon, the SDX will extract heavy contaminants prior to shredding, ensuring optimal protection of the secondary shredder while enabling the production of high-calorific RDF.

This results in:
โœ” Reduced operational costs (OPEX)
โœ” Minimized downtime
โœ” Continuous and stable plant operation โ€” especially critical for cement production facilities

Nihot windshifters use negative pressure (aspiration) to separate waste into heavy and light fractions โ€” a method known for its high separation efficiency. The SDX windshifter is specifically designed as a robust, cost-efficient solution for removing inert materials from waste streams, ensuring maximum protection of downstream equipment at the lowest cost per tonne.
