SDi 800 commissioned for C&D waste in the USA!

We are proud to share the successful commissioning of an SDi windshifter for a C&D recycler in the United States, processing 18 short t/h (16 metric t/h) of Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste with a 3″-6″ (75-150 mm) fraction size.

The SDi 800 efficiently separates the waste stream into a light and heavy fraction, removing aggregates, heavy woods, and other heavy inert materials from the C&D residuals to produce a clean RDF stream for use in the cement industry.

The Nihot windshifters are characterized by using negative pressure (aspiration) to separate waste into a heavy and light fraction. This method has proven to provide the most precise separation efficiency.
