Resource Recovery Facility in Australia featuring Nihot windshifters!

We’re proud to share that a cutting-edge recycling facility in Australia is now up and running with a Nihot DDS 2000 and SDS 1000 windshifter! This facility will separate recyclable materials and then produce an alternate fuel that replaces coal as an energy source for high-energy users, such as cement manufacturers. A special thanks to our customer OGTEC.

Both windshifters are processing Construction & Demolition (C&D) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) waste, delivering efficient 3-way separation into:
1) Clean hardcore
2) Recovered wood fraction
3) Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF)

The Nihot SDS windshifters are characterized by using negative pressure (aspiration) to separate waste into a heavy and light fraction. This method has consistently demonstrated the highest levels of separation efficiency. And the DDS is even more special since this windshifter separates the waste into a heavy, mid-heavy and light fraction (1 windshifter = 3 fractions)!
