SDS windshifter

Since June 1, the Next Gen SDS Windshifter has officially become the new standard in our product portfolio. Fully redeveloped from the ground up, it represents the next step in efficient and user-friendly air separation technology.

The SDS windshifter is designed for maximum versatility, efficiently processing a wide range of waste streams, including Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Construction & Demolition Waste (C&D), Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF), compost, and more. Thanks to its extensive adjustment capabilities and broad operating range, the SDS can handle both fine and coarse material fractions with ease, delivering consistent and reliable separation performance across diverse applications.

Evolution

The images tell the story: from our earlier designs to the latest evolution of the SDS. Every generation has brought new insights, improved functionality, and enhanced user experience. The result is a windshifter that is smarter, more accessible, easier to transport and install, and ready for the future.

Principle separating process

The SDS has one splitter drum, at which the heavy material is separated from the light material. View the picture below for the operating principles.
